Finally the mag came out....Got it in the mail today. Pics were taken in November.....much has changed since but at least I am on the cover!! WOO HOO!! Thanks GMHTP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My new mods are AFR 227 LT4 stage 4 heads......a AS&M monoblade t-body........upgrade to OBD1 with ZO6 maf and dyno tune........a transbrake.......KYB 8-way adjustable shocks......NX direct port kit....dropped weight.....and more!!;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) Mid 9's are a must.....possibly even better!:D

I was wondering when that damn thing was going to come out. I'm going to go look for it tomorrow. Hell of a job getting on the cover man, all your hard work finally paid off. :bow: I can't wait for a ride when you get in the 9s. Awesome Tony, you gonna have the car done for Thunder? Yea, I read the article and it said you had valve guide and converter issues, then on the 93 board you said that article was shot in November about when you ran in to the vavle guide and stall problems because I remember thunder all those plus that TPS sensor kept you out of the 9s.

Yes......I will be ready for Thunder this year.....I would say 3-6 weeks it will be running again with the new setup. I will make sure my car is 100% ready before I go to Thunder this year! Have to represent the LT1's!!!!!!!!!;)

I got my article :D .... Only thing messed up is my miles driven weekly - course I got a company vehicle now... And my race weight.. they had me down at 3465#'s.. I wish!!! :eek: It was 3625#'s that day... Now it's 3680#'s.. LOL .. No more skinnies up front.

It was in the pit area ;) .... I had pulled off my 1LE elbow to put on a different "custom" elbow that held onto the N2O nozzle better. <- Thicker rubber....

It was a hectic day for me, so I forgot to do a thing or two :o .. Once I got to the track I had to pull off all 4 street tires and slap on the slicks and skinnies. Then change spark plugs as I wasn't wanting to risk fouling out the 2 step colder plugs on the way to the track.. Then I had to wipe the car down for the photo shoot. Silly me even put in a 5amp fuse for my nitrous switch and it popped as soon as the solenoid clicked open on my first nitrous pass.. doh! If I had found a ride down on a trailer it would've made things a whole lot more simple. Plus, I would've had plenty of time to visit w/ the other racers.

Dam sounds like lots of effort went to getting the car ready, props though for getting in the Magazine.

Where is the cheapest place to subscribe to gmgtp. I like the mag but it's so much more expensive than the other ones I get. Congrats on getting your car in.
