I am looking on buying a strut tower brace for my 95 convertible Z28. I am not sure if I should go with a 2, 3, or a 4 point brace. Any suggestions on what I should do and reasons why I should do it? Thanks!!

Get a 2-pt. Never seen a 4-pt, but a 3-pt is pretty useless. Take a look at how thick the metal is where the third point ties in at. A 2-pt will do the same job a 3-pt, 4-pt or whatever-pt would do....tie the two shock towers together.

Thanks for the info. I never thought of that. That 3'rd point taht connects to the firewall is pretty flimsy I guess. I'm not sure where I saw the 4 point STB. It was online somewhere. I know it won't work in cars that have traction control. I don't need to worry about that. Thanks!!

LG Motorsports calls their's a "4-point". I have one - no real difference in function between a 3-pt and a 4-pt:

4-pt #1 (http://cjcfo.fbody.com/members/injuneerzz@aol.com/PhotosC/Motor202.jpg)

4-pt #2 (http://cjcfo.fbody.com/members/injuneerzz@aol.com/Photos/2000+HP_Baxter)

A friend of mine has a 97 30th SS 'vert, and he felt his Hotchkis 3-pt was a useful addition.... worked well in a car that ran 9.04@155mph at a full 3,900#. He was disappointed when he had to get rid of it when he changed the induction system to one the cut into the cowl, right where the 3-pt had been attached.

Just get the 2 point, there's a company selling them on Ebay now for $72 shipped. I just bought one and it's very nice quality, and looks identical to most of the name brand ones.
