I urgently need 22lb injectors for a 93 LT1. I can get 24lb from a 94+, but dont know how to do the tuning. I caould get it done somewhere, but it is way too much for just injector tuning. I understand I have to change my chip!

 

Just get a set of 24# injectors... I put a set in my '93 w/o tuning for them, and the block learns barely changed. Give your ECM around 15 minutes to get the BLMs right, and it will run exactly the way it did with the 22#'ers.

He should really stick with the stock LT1 24# Delphi / Rochester injectors - they are cheap ($25 a set!), and more importantly, the injector offsets in the stock ECM programming will be perfect. Other brands of injectors can have vastly different injector offsets, and would require changing the injector offset table to make the car run right (which he can't do without getting a chip burned).
