Anyone going to the LS1 Tech race on the 19th? I will be going with a few buddies from the Ft. Wayne area. It will probably be a good weekend. They are also having one of the Street Car Chaos events the night before, might go to that as well.

Umm, sounds pretty cool. I'd go if we caravaned down or something, but if not then I probably wont go. The majority of my friends arent really into racing or drag racing or anything. Whenever they drive in my car they ask all these stupid questions about my car and I always tell em my fan switch is nos and they believe it. So in other words I would either caravan with some of ya or I would go alone and I dont wanna go alone.

Yeah, that's probably what we will do. As long as my car is still rolling at the time!! There will be at least me and another guy, possibly more.

I want to go but might have to work, won't know for sure until next week. The car maybe done before that but not sure yet. I'm waiting for the trans to get here which won't be till at least the beginning of next week. And Josh I will be a Don Hall's soon as it's done to meet up with you guys. And for this Sunday at hooters there will be at least my buddies 94z and 96ta, hope to see you guys there.

I'll be there, but I think the turbo car is staying home. :(

Look for my white '04 Silverado or a 48' enclosed pulled by an '04 Dodge diesel...not sure if we're bringing a car to the party or not yet.

I'll be making the trip up this week for the race, should be fun. Is US 41 a good track?

Glad to hear it! I talked to a buddy last night that lives up there and he told me US 41 is known to do a great job of track prep. Hope to meet a few people at the track.

I think I'm gonna plan on going to the friday night chaos, and I'm not really sure about the shootout on saturday though. As of right now I am just gonna go by myself, lemme know if anyone is gonna caravan or what not....peace

There's going to be at least 2 Z's going up, possibly another TA. We are just going to go for Sat, probably leave around 6 or 7 in the morning. The gates open at 8:00, so we will leave accordingly. You are more than welcome to join us.

well I kinda wanna run my car...........I was under the impression that on saturday it was only for the big dogs and that it was a contest sorta thing. I would like to go with ya on saturday if I would be able to run my car. So the gates open at 8 in the morning? are they running all day long?

Yeah, they have brackets that you can run, but it's kinda expensive. $50 They also have index classes that you can run in. I think they have 11.0, 12.0 and 13.0 index classes. I will just be watching, along with the other guys, so it'll only cost me $15.

I ended up going last night.........got a few runs in, lots of cars.....lots of fbodies  .

I also got to see the Tricky Racing 92 Camaro go heads up for 250 bucks against a stang.....The camaro friggin popped a huge wheelie and came down and bounced and sparks flew everywhere.....was pretty exciting.
