I am going to be purchasing some ET Streets in the near future (yes...finally going to make this pig hook :p). I will be going with a 26 x 10.50-16 tire. I plan on mounting them on salad shooters. I have seen 10.50s mounted on salad shooters in the past and I was curious if it is safe to run them on that narrow of a wheel. MT recommends the wheel width be +/- 1" of tread width, which would mean a 9.5" wheel. Any input/experience is appreciated. :)

I have some 28"x10.5" ET Drags screwed to Weld Prostars that are 15"x8" and they seem to be working pretty good.

Same here, only on a 15" dish.

I have 26 x 10.5 E/T Drags mounted on salad shooters and they seem to work just fine. I'm not using tubes either.

26x11.5s on salad shooters here too. They work great and look "right" too.

DOTs = measured at sidewall
Slicks = measured at tread
10.5 ET street is a DOT and the tread measures about 8.75". Out 11.5s measure about 9.125 across the tread.
Your mileage may vary. :D

How are you gonna keep that stock rear under the car? It's gonna complain loudly with those ET Streets.

We shall see. ;) I know there are guys running ET streets on the stock 10-bolt. I understand it is a ticking time bomb...but I wouldn't be using them too often, so hopefully I will be OK. :) I am still contemplating the idea of drag radials, but I want the car to hook.
