Sounds like a nice car; though, I think your price is a bit high. Are you open to offers or are you pretty firm on that price?

Blue Book gave me a value of $9600 which I thought was a little high. That's why I put it up for $8800.

What did you have in mind?

Consumer Rated Condition: Excellent
"Excellent" condition means that the vehicle looks great, is in excellent mechanical condition and needs no reconditioning. It should pass a smog inspection. The engine compartment should be clean, with no fluid leaks. The paint is glossy and the body and interior are free of any wear or visible defects. There is no rust. The tires are the proper size and match and are new or nearly new. A clean title history is assumed. This is an exceptional vehicle.

Private Party value represents what you might expect to pay for a used car when purchasing from a private party. It may also represent the value you might expect to receive when selling your own used car to another private party.

That's what I got from kbb.com, granted I used my Zip, but I can't imagine there being a huge difference...? I could be wrong, though.

I'd like to see some pictures. If you could email them to me, that'd be great.:)

Just saw your pics, good lookin' car. I think you clicked the "retail value" part of kbb and I did the "private party" side. Looks like that's where the differences lie. Retail is usually what a dealer would ask for that car, atleast that has been my experience. Being private party I think it'll be a bit harder to get that kind of money from the car.

I've got cash in hand, but for that car I'm not willing to pay that much. Mainly because it's an LT1 f-body. Not saying they're bad cars by any means, it's just not worth that much to me. Good luck in your sale.:) If you come down in your price let me know. Or PM me and possibly we can talk about it off the board. I dont want this to turn into a bashing/hijacked thread.
