Started the car up today and insured it. Finished off all the engine work and everything is picture perfect. I drove around a bit tonight with open Y-pipe, cause I'm still welding up the 4 inch Mufflex. All the new mods are:

Ported Polished Heads w/ 3angle valvegrind
Ported intake Manifold
Ported 52mm Throttle body
K&N FIPK
30# SVO Injectors
Vortech polished air elbow
Polished Aluminum Valve covers
Crane 1.6 roller rockers
LT4 hotcam
LT4 hotcam valvesprings
hardened pushrods
Lifters
Spec Stage III Clutch
4inch Mufflex exhaust
Accel 300+ Race Ignition

I've been taking it easy to break in the new clutch and the valve guide liners so I'm not sure how she goes. I hammered it once in 1st and 2nd gear and couldn't get traction, so that's a good sign;) All that's left know is to install the exhaust and give her a bath:)

Ouch. Can't wait to hear it. Who did your heads?

I did all the install myself and ported the heads myself. High Peformance Engines surfaced the heads and installed new liners and valve seals for me.

It seems to grab nice, but I do get some chatter if I let it out slow in low rpm's.

I'm not sure??? I'm going to tune the car on the street with a wideband O2 then I'll take it to the dyno.

it only does it for a while ~1500 km or so. a Couple of brake stands and it goes away:D the chatter in reverse is worse, havent got rid of that yet:(

my street twin lost all chatter in all gears after 2 days of normal driving :D

if i have money when im doing a clutch, I will definitely grab another street twin

I'm going to try a Spec Stg III in the vette. Spposeduly they have a new disk called the X-pad which reduces chatter after breakin and grips upto 600 rwtq.

Yeah, reverse sucks. Feels like something is going to break. That's the beauty of a torque-arm:rolleyes:
