I just completed assembling my engine which includes 30# injectors. Is it ok to start the car without tuning in the new injector size??? The current tune is setup for the stock 24#ers

30's will flow more fuel for the stock pulsewidths. You will run very rich, and there may not be enough room for the PCM to compensate. Are they SVO 30lbers? If so then at LT1 fuel pressures they are rated higher the 30lbs making the problem worse.

You might get away with it....

Yes they are 30#SVO. What size injectors should I tune for when I tune the car???

Hey Shawn

Tune the car on the dyno if you want to get it done right. That is what I would do. I simply tuned the Supra to get it to run and then went to the dyno a few days after.

My .02

PS: Once you go to the dyno call me!
