GM MEFI IV ecm info

In the July issue of Hot Rod, on page 60 of the GTO drifting article, reference is made to a GM MEFI IV standalone ecm. Anyone familiar with this ecm, or know anything about it?

MEFI = Marine EFI

There were several renditions of the Delphi MEFI controllers. The latest being the MEFI4 which accepts coil near plug ignition. As for programming software there is no software commercially available for these ECUs. GM is very tight about letting it out to the public.
