Went to a local race and put the 150hp NX jets in. The very first pass of the day went like this. +3050' DA
1.66 60' spinning quite a bit ET streets @17psi.
7.06 1/8th
10.95@125.8mph
next pass.
1.63 60' Went out about 30' before spraying. 15psi.
7.02 1/8th
10.93@125mph
Then refilled N2o bottle.
1.61 60' hooked a little better. 14psi.
6.98 1/8th
10.89@126mph dialed in 10.90 and broke out!
Finally had a grudge match with a local Mustang guy,
1.60 60' 14psi.
6.96 1/8th
10.84@126mph to his losing 11.07@119mph.
I was super excited with the car since it's the first time the car went 10's and did it like a bracket car almost. The Et streets weren't hooking up off the line I had to leave on motor and spray a little ways out. The car weighs 3550lbs with me in it and has a tight 3500 converter with 3.42's in the stock 10 bolt! I mixed 3gallons of C12 in with my 1/4 tank of 93 just to be safe b/c this is on a stock 10k mi. 4bolt main shortblock I bought off of Ebay 2 mos. ago for $400. Lloyd Elliott LT1 heads with stock valves and a Joe O custom cam. Thanks Joe and Lloyd for your help.
