Any of you guys cruise US 31 Friday and Saturday nights? If you are out and about look for a Black 96 Z with a Chevy racing plate frame.

I hope tonight more people are out, last night was dead because of the big f-body event at IRP.

Where exactly do you go?

The Suds off of main street, K-Mart area off of 31 and the Steak N Steak at 31 and Troy

Man, I'll remember this if the event is in Indy next year. I would've liked to have done a little driving Thursday or Friday night. ;)

I saw a red LT1 T/A from the event out there and a few others. I heard it might be back in TN next year. If it is just hit U.S. 31 after 9pm. Most of the cars and bikes come out only on Friday and Saturday, a few SVT stangs in the 500rwhp club also :D



I got a call from a buddy of mine to meet him at the Steak N Shake and 31 and Troy last Saturday. I wanted to go home but he said there was a lot of hot girls and cars there and I had never been so I made the trip back over. I get there and ask were all the girls are and he said over there.
I then said, DUDE, THEY ARE LIKE 14! :rolleyes:
A few F-bodies and Saleens, lots of imports. At one time I know I had the fastest car there, and I am almost stock LOL.

I never was able to find SUDS for some reason. I am pretty sure I know the Steak n shake you mentioned and K-mart off 31 is way north near Indy right?

Yeah its past Troy and 465 and all that, almost to downtown I go to the St Francis building parking lot at the light just past the k-mart. To get to the Suds turn onto Main Street off of 31 and just before you get to Madison look for the Post office building on your right, turn in on that street just after the post office, once you turn you will see all the cars. Just about everyone is there around 6pm on Saturday nights, Fords park on the left side of the street :bow: Chevys :bow: on the right,

^^^^ that is the way its been since my dad was young. he pointed that out to me the first time i went to the suds about 10 years ago.

anyways im always out on friday and saturday nights. this coming weekend is gona be the coming out party for my maro though. been working on it too much to drive it. im not gona tell what my other vehicle is because if you seen it you have seen it shake down 31. its a nightmare to drive.

AAhhh, I htought it was the blue 79ish camaro that I saw.

nope the person i think you saw was a guy named donald and he has a 78 or 79 Berlinetta. mine is a 79 Sport Coupe and its gona see its first time out tonight. i was out last night for maybe 20 mins at around 12:30 though.

I went out and forgot it was fireworks night!, the suds area was a nightmare, and not fun when your cooling fan motor is shot...

o yea it was. i entered the suds off of main and got about to the last entrance of the bank and said the hell with it. i was down there at about 3:30 and it was starting to get packed then. some very very nice cars came out though.

Yeah I ended up talking to a guy with a Black 97 T/A all night and checked out the ZR1 and the Mercedes Kompressor that was for sale and saw the Red LT1 Firehawk that I blew my tranny next to in my last camaro. I had to park about fifty feet off of main street and walk down.

What a nightmare.... even on 31 traffic was bad because they had cops directing traffic at every intersection.
