I have clear rear sidemarkers. My red replacement bulb has always had a pinkish tint to it (its an APC Pep Boys replacement). Well as time has gone on, its gotten pinker and pinker. I figured I'd buy a new red bulb, but I want a bright RED light to show through for a long time!
I know red LEDs will stay red, but how do I go about hooking them up? I know I'll need some sort of thing so that the LEDs won't "burst" or whatever. Any idea on where to get LEDs as well? Thanks!

I got mine from here www.oznium.com. You will need to hook up the resistor in series with the LED.

Pep boys carries a 194 led bulb as a replacement. It's a plug n play deal with em, no wiring involved. Looks pretty hot with the sidemarkers too.

Check here (http://www.superbrightleds.com) also for LED's, and possibly resistors.
That's the place to get them no need to solder or anything they come with bulb holders and you just swap them out just like a regular bulb

I second that, that's where I got my replacements for my instrument cluster and mirror lights.

Yeah I just went to Pep Boys and they said they would have to special order it for $13. If it is plug and play I just might do it instead of dealing with the hassle of wiring crap that I know nothing about.
