New master cylinder, came home last night and saw a nice puddle of fluid on the floor, WTF!!! After that then it's time for some practice, practice, practice! I'll probably be out at Stanton Wednesday night for some TNT.

99 1LE Hugger SS, if you need some floorspace to get all that done let me know. I'm on vacation all week just screwing around with stuff at home.

I'm sure there is more, but I'll start there.

Just rebuilt the master cylinder, time for some test driving! Fricken sealing washer was ripped and spraying fluid out when you push the pedal down. Anyway, all set just cleaning up the car now.

We just drove through real quick on our way to the bar. Just a minor detour! I got the car all fixed, I hope nothing else decides to break. So at this point it looks like I'll have some TNT action this Wednesday.

Gotta chase down an electric gremlin. It's either a short in the wire, or bad ground. Keeps blowing the engine-sensor fuse.

Then I gotta finish tuning it... Hmmmm... I wonder what it'll do when it's actually running good?

I just got a fuel pressure gauge and voltmeter to install in the A-pillar gauge pod.

I also have a rattle that just popped up that I need to fix, kind of sounds like the exhaust hitting under the car. That never happened before so I think my tranny mount might be shot.

TQ convertor came back already, bumped it up a little. Installed today, Thanks for the help Andy.

Now to figure out a few clinks, install TQ arm, tweek the exhaust, fiddle with the rear sway bar mounts, check fluid levels, fill bottles, drill out jets, glue cracked lid (from last year), the rest is secret.

I guess everyone else is ready to roll. Anyone have an extra bottle I can use? Baby is real hungry.

Better pack a lunch!!:D

well Harold, I couldnt afford a supercharger so I picked up a few deals on EBAY and so far it's looking pretty good! All I need to do is weld in a few brackets so that it'll pass tech, then I can finish the installation of my newly engineered parallel array electric forced induction system! Yes, you heard it first right here, and here's how I did it:

I picked up a 6500 watt Honda Generator and remote-mounted it into what once was the rear hatch area. The subwoofer had to go! The generator is running through a secondary turbo muffler and is whisper quiet in its rubber isolation mounts, courtesy McMaster Carr. I ran some braided stainless 3/4 inch hose from my Griffin radiator to the generator, because it's q 12-horse liquid cooled motor. The generator is pumping 27 AMPS of 240 VAC through 00 gage wire to the engine compartment, where there is a series-parallel array of EIGHT leaf blower engines all blowing into a common plenum. At idle, the plenum pressurizes to 17 PSI, and at WOT, the plenum still has enough reserve to keep pressure to nearly 14 PSI!

I have the blowers connected through an array of four solenoids that engage from a microswitch on the throttle plate of the carb: They spool up only at 3/4 throttle, which reduces the noise of the generator to virtually nothing as it idles with no load. The generator was a remote electric start model(ES6500, I think), so I can actually start it from my driver's seat with no one knowing.

All I can say is this leaf blowercharger really makes the motor haul azz. I swear, I can now see the front end twist under the torque. With the Spohn suspension, the car hooks and I get pressed into the seat, and then there is this blur as I launch! I really wonder how much of this the ol' 305 can handle! I *did* back off the timing so as far as I can tell, there isn't any detonation... I guess next week we will see.

The only problem that I ran into is that I couldnt close the hood. I solved the problem by installing one of those Mopar-style hood scoops. It's a little unsightly right now, but with a little paint and fiberglass, I think the hood will look killer!

Cheers,

Dan

Glad to hear your trans is doing well Harold. Also thanks again for helping me get moved out of the old house when we were done with your trans! And also thanks for dealing with the old man next door! What an azz!!!!
I would really like to do something to my car before m7 or else it's just going to run the same times as before. I really need to work on traction at this point. My buddy's dad ordered some BFG drag radials and they were not the right size. They are the right size for me though. They are down the road at the tire store. $138 each. I don't know.
Can't wait to see everyone!!!

No problem Andy. Thank you for the home cooked meal. The convertor is doing good, not alot of difference from the 3200. The TQ arm is in, and I took out the tranny rear seal, and RVC on it and put back in. The axle tube on the drives side is leaking like crazy, so I'll have to scratch any racing this weekend, until I can fix that. Lot's of little things, but I'll do my best to be ready by M7. Get with me if you want to do the gears early this week.
