Install of a pre apmed MTX thunderform box?

Hello all I just got an MTX thunderform pre amped sub box. Now with the amp inside the box it has the outlets on the back of the box. I know I can't just splice into the other speaker that is back there. If I run it into the factory head unit is there an outlet on the back of the factory head unit? Also do I have to run a power supply all the way to the battery, and if so is there a pre drilled hole somewhere in the firewall or does one have to be drilled?
