Auburn Posi Questions

Hey, Can an auburn posi be rebuilt? If so does someone make performance parts to rebuild it with?
I ask because i just learned to rebuild posi units yesterday and if my auburn that the car came stock with can be rebuilt ill just do that with better guts instead of dropping a few hundred on an eaton.

No. Auburn actually has an exchange program where you send them your posi and they send you a new one back. It's called their DRex program. It isn't free, though.

He says its normal for the car to not want to go into third gear at wide open for a half second or so, and that its also normal that within a weeks period time it went from rowdy solid shifts to lumpy sucky shifts....
