Car Weight: estimated at 2600 lbs. (without the driver)

Car is mean and nasty. 600hp on motor, plumbed for 300hp nitrous shot. Needs a little finishing, but it could be on the track with a week's work or so. Car ran high 6's in the 1/8 (approx equivalent mid 10s in 1/4) on motor only weighing 500lbs more and with restrictive intake and carb. Should be easy 10 flat once tuned. Add 300 shot to that and hang on tight.

I'll sell the whole works for $9000 or may seperate big components (engine, trans, rear end, chassis). Only reason for selling is I am tired of throwing all my money into building a killer race car and having my daily driver's fall apart around me. I need a DEPENDABLE, decent MPG (20mpg or better) daily driver. So if you have an interesting trade offer for all or part of this car, let me know.

Don't do it, Mike----

See it through! It it's the LS1 installation that's bugging you, let me know if I can help!

Is it just because you need a regular ol' dependamobile?
Surely we can find you an Achieva or something unremakably dependable for cheep- - - No need to cash in the race parts.

Problem is I am outta cash Dan. I gotta get the ls1 installed asap. probably going to attack that this week sometime. In the meantime I am running 120 miles a day commute at 10-12mpg, and the wife is driving a borrowed vehicle.

Put the LS1 on the trailer and bring it over if you need the garage space, Mike. I have the room at the moment, and I have the engine hoist. I could probably put in a few hours in the evenings on it for you as well, assuming you help me with my Minirammed 385 when it's ready for bolting in ??

Might take you up on that dan, we'll see. It should only take a day realistically. As long as we can remember where everything plugs in  It's been out isnce November or so. I have a converter here for it and some long tube headers. those are easy to install since the engine and trans are both out. Then the car just sits down over the top of the whole shebang.

I'd probably take $4500 for the motor. Trades considered as usual ;)

forgot to mention a few things:

Engine has SFI fluidamper and SFI flywheel.

Igntion has MSD Pro Billet distributor and Taylor 409 wires. Also has the MSD Pro blaster coil.

Fuel system has a regulator with dual output, restrictor and fuel pressure gauge, and aluminum fuel line from the fuel cell to the reg, braided line from there.

I can take pics of whatever you want to see for people seriously interested.
