Yeah, they might have to take a few Berger SS's back and rework them to make these. (that's a joke, but if you've seen how many are still at Berger I wouldn't put it past them).

There's a pic here:

When I hauled a car to GMMG for exhaust, the whole back lot was full of new Camaros.

Hey John......don't forget about the cage too! Remember when they asked if we were there to pick up the ZL-1 Camaro?

Yea, I pulled up with my truck and trailer in front of GMMG and they asked if I was there to pick up the orange 427 ZL1. I should have thought fast and said yea, but then again, I heard the food isnt too good in jail.

I'm hoping somebody can explain a few things to me about Berger and Tom Henry camaros.
First off how do they still have (2002)camaros when the 2005 model year is almost upon us?
Second how do they rate those Berger camaros at 380 horsepower/400 ft/lbs? I don't mean to put them down but the 2002 Z28 I use to own (I miss it badly) use to beat the Berger camaros every time at the track with only a exhaust cutout and new air intake with ram air hood.

I feel like I am lost in time seeing a post about new camaros.....

They measure guestimatedly at the crank. The stage I's are all GMMG exhausts, lid, some rugs that are worth 20 HP, a couple emblems, paint job, etc. The stage II has a crankshaft that is embarassing to even mention, less the fact that they don't offer it with a warranty. Quite simply there is not enough market for people to pay the astronomical price that's asked of it. At this point collectors snatch them up and that's about it.

At the end of the 02 model year, Berger was buying up all the six speed hardtop cars he could find from other dealers that were willing to sell them outright. They were never titled, so the 3 year, 36 month warranty should be intact. The Berger cars are a joke, but the stage III 427 ZL1s are the real deal with about 575 hp and a price tag of about $70000.

I don't know too many people that would pay $70k for a 2002 camaro even if it is a special edition 575 horsepower. If I had that kind of cash I would just wait for the 500 horsepower 2006 z06 vette for less money or buy a used camaro and modify it, but thats just me.

He11, a guy from Michigan bought the last Camaro Z28 built that was avaiable to the public at an aucton for $76000. No mods, straight off the assembly line stock. Yea, I think these guys will be sweating if they have any high dollar 02 Camaros left by the time the 06 Z06 Vette rolls out.

dont worry for them, they sold all of the 69 02 ZL1's w/in two weeks of being offered (before they were even built). I just read an article on them in last months "chevy rumble" sweet cars indeed. didnt they want close to $40K for the regular berger SS? I know those fikse wheels are very expensive.

Yeah I was at Berger about a 6 weeks and they had like 6 Berger Camaros and like 4 Hot Rod edition Camaros sitting next to about 6 vetts and most of the vetts were cheaper:p
