Dave,

I don't knwo if you ever saw my car with the windows done? There is a place here in Ann Arbor that has a guy come in once a week. He did an awesome job. Did the rear window in one piece. I had mine done @ 20% and loved it. I can get you the name of the company and shoot it to you this Saturday. I don't remember what I paid but do remember thinking it was well worth the money to say the least.

I was happy with the job they did on mine.

Let me know how it goes.

Not to knock ya, but I had my old Firebird done at AutoXtras and was not happy at all with the job. They did the rear window in two pieces, did a terrible job w/ the dot matrix at the top of the rear window, and the seam in the rear window stuck out like nothing else. The side windows also had to be re-done twice because of peeling and bubbling, and they still were never perfect. Just my personal experience. I'm glad you're happy with the job they did on your car, maybe they've learned how to properly tint these cars in the last couple years.

Wow, sorry to hear about your experience. I can just base mine on my car and my friends car, both excellent jobs. They did my back window in one piece and it turned out nice.

How long ago did you have it done on yours? Mine was done about 1 1/2 years ago.

Well, good luck where ever you go. Use a credit card and dispute the hell out of the charge if you are not 100% happy.

I heard from a couple other people as well that they did nice jobs, which is why I went there. I've seen their work on another car and it looked alright, but then again I'm picky as hell with these types of things. I don't see hardly any decent jobs on F-bodies these days, not enough companies are willing to try new things to solve the dot-matrix problem. This was probably done 3-4 years ago, maybe it's a different person now. I remember talking to them after they did it and asked them why they did it in two pieces. "Oh, it can't be done in one, the tint's not big enough." I told them that I've seen it done in one, but they said that they couldn't do anything for me. Oh well, that's all in the past. Sounds like they do a decent job nowadays so I'd say give them a try. I do remember their price being very reasonable. Again, I'm glad to hear that yours turned out nice Bill. :)
