Hey, all i ordered the wrong parts . .they are 4 ohm and are direct factory replacements for the stock ones. They go in the sail pannel (might fit in other locations if you have bose but not sure). Selling them for 50 dollars for the pair. Plus s&h or u can just pick up. S&h will be minimal due to the fact that i still have them NIB. GM sells these for 44 a piece. Great deal if you want to replace. I have a camaro and cant use, the connectors are different and the camaro ones are 2ohm not 4. These are for a firebird. my loss is your gain. the p# is 9365799

I am by no means a stereo expert, but I think you might be able to use those speakers. Go to Radio Shack and ask the guy who is the biggest geek in the place. (every radio shack has at least one guy that really knows something about electronics). Tell him what your problem is. I believe that they have a device for matching impedences with stereos and speakers. Basically if you wire another 4 ohm resistor in parallel with the speaker, then the overall impedence should end up to be 2 ohms. When you wire stuff in series the resistance of the two (or how many number of things you have) adds up. So two items of two ohms each would have a total resistance of 4 ohms. If you wire stuff in parallel then the resistance of the two things becomes half of the combined resistance. Don't ask me why I know this  I just remember it from high school. That and how to open a imported beer w/out an opener! Good luck!!
