There are several choices on springs:
SLP springs: approx .5-.75" lower than stock
Eibach Pro Kits: approx 1.5" lower than stock
Other brands: drop varies

Another option is to get Koni SA shocks in the front, which have and adjustable spring mount which lowers the car approx .5" from stock, and then remove the rear spring isolator which and replace it with a length of garden hose around the first coil of the spring (lowering the rear approx .5"). This saves you the cost of springs and will get you very good shocks in the front at the same time.

No matter what you do for lowering, I'd recommend the Bilstein HDs for the rear, and either Bilstein HDs or Koni SAs for the front.

I don't know exaclty what too stiff means for the shock absober, if you using them springs, your way underdamped with the KYB shocks, even with the bilstein Hd there not fully capable. When you change springs you need Koni or Bilstine revlaves to handle the add spring weights. Shocks control springs and you need good shocks to control lowering springs, especially some of them.

If I was you and on a budget. Just get Bilstein Hd 300 bucks and NO springs. If you must have springs get Bilstein Revalves and some "soft" linear springs.

IF you do a search this thread happends about 4 times a day, and you can find good stuff.

As stated you can call SAM and he will adivse and set you up.

Hope this helps.

If you get new springs, you DEFINITELY need new shocks. If you keep the stock springs, then you can get away with just shocks.

if you can only afford to do one, do the shocks.

what you want will probably be the SLP drop. jsut enough to make it look a bit better and hadle good.
