Certain pads are squeaky based on the material that is used. Typically the ones that say produce less dust (ceramic), are noisy. ARTIC_Z 05-12-2004, 10:53 PM the front are ceramic but the back arnt and that is what is making the noise. it started making the noise so i checked them and they were bad so i changed tham and they still make noise and it drives mr insane. VegasZ 05-13-2004, 11:12 PM Try the VGX pads. They claim that they dont squeak, and they dont. Ive had them on my vert for years after having enough of the squeaky GM pads. thermwood1 05-14-2004, 08:25 AM I've been using the Hawk pads, and i don't have any problems with them. Hey Artic, what kind of pads did you use on the rear? GoFast908Z 11-24-2004, 06:35 PM I have Hawk pads too. (2nd set) and the rears always squeak under light braking (like stop and go), which I do a lot of. Anyone figure this out yet? wbna0149 11-25-2004, 01:43 AM Before you go changing your new pads . Try spraying or painting the back of the pads with with brake anti squeal. Make sure u hit all the contact points. GoFast908Z 11-25-2004, 02:33 PM done that several times. wbna0149 11-26-2004, 01:15 PM Go fast i believe that is the nature of the Hawk HP pLus pad. It squeals a little. | ||
