Alright. So there is a guy on my block with a 95 Stang GT. When im out in my driveway working on my car he comes by my house and floors it, he has NO clue what i have in my car, he probobly thinks its stock. So today I was cruising on a road behind my house and this dude comes out of my block and i pass him then slow down to talk to him to see if he wants to go....so we talk a little and i tell him its stock besides a flowmaster american thunder exhaust so hes like alright great lets go. So we get to the next light which is like a straightaway for a few miles (GREAT STIP) We pull up to the light I open my cut out and he looks at me and says WTF, and i said ohh its just a cut-out and hes like yea ok. So at the green light, i was kinda late on the go because i went to put my radar detector on, so light turns green he jumps out about 2 cars, then i gun it, no tire spin so im hooked and pulling and hes probobly at 75 and i blow past him doiun like 90 and beat him BADLY, i cant even explain how badly i beat him, i was about a half a mile ahead of him hahaha...then i stop at the next light and says REAL FUNNY A$$HOLE....and i said to him "I guess ur not gunna gun it in front of my house anymore" and he rolls up him window and makes a right....

HAHA GREAT KILL !!!!!!!!! i loved it, especially because it was a rustang.

Power adding mods: Mid-length headers, cai, and catback.

3 of the 3047234 mods listed

Good kill though.

Ok the 390 was from the seller who told me that, i didnt care about that real number cause i know its got power, but i got it as a crazy low price so i just kept 390 up there, i think its like 340-350 hp around that.

Mustangs Mods:
Flowmaster Exhaust
Aftermarket Headers
Cool air intake

every thing else stock

o wait hes got MUSTANG inserts so thats +5 hp ;) LOL

Thanks

Out of those 3 power adders the flowm...I'm sorry chokemaster exhaust leaves much to be desired and edelbrock headers are hardly "high flow".......not anywhere CLOSE to 390hp, great kill none the less!

*edit* I just saw your post above me, I would say your below 340hp...if I had to take a best guess I would say the Edelbrock headers (lets face it they aren't the best) gave you 15-20hp, the exhaust 10hp, and the CAI 10hp....so if you go from 285 stock thats about 320hp at the flywheel, and thats if you add up all the number, it doesn't really work that way...you may get 20hp from headers by itself, and 10hp from a catback by itself....but when they are both on together you may only see a 25hp increase instead of 30hp. Make any sense?

Nice kill. People who buy 94-95 GT's and think that they are fast just have no clue whatsoever. 220HP here I come! Don't some VTEC or other Inline 4 cylinder imports pushing the 210HP mark N/A?

Yeah but an LT1 and LS1 only puts out 275 and 305 horsepower out of 5.7 liters. Those are sad #s as well compared to the Prelude's hp/liter. Granted the 5.0s #s are even worse in the hp/liter dept. That's one thing ricer engines are good at, producing a lot of power/liter. The engines are just not big enough.

just thought while we were on the subject of vtec and mustang..

I saw a 91-92 5.0 with a HONDA "H" emblem on the rear trunk panel in the center, and VTEC badge on the right!

Both were the Autozone pieces

lol i couldnt stop laughing, i almost wanted to wait and see who drove it

I wonder if it was indeed a 5.0 or those were just hijacked badges, too

hehe one night at the track, I got line up with a pre 99 GT, had exhaust and likely an intake.

He got me at the light had a carlenght on me, I launched caught up and put about 2-3 lengths on him by the end of the 1/4.

HE pulled a better light and I still caught up and passed him with more power...

to most wouldn't be that cool but remember I was in a '00 v6 with only free mods, and it wasn't even my best run :D

Its not a dumb question.
NBM means Navy Blue Metalic, its a paint color.

B4C is the police package on Camaros.
According to "The Genuine Camaro White Book" by Michael Antonick, on a 93 Camaro, the B4C "special service" option included: LT1 engine 6 speed manual transmission 3.23:1 ratio limited slip rear axle Single exhaust and converter with dual tail pipes 16 inch aluminum wheels P245/50ZR16 blackwalls 4 wheels disc brakes 124 amp alternator (140 amp for '94 and on) 150 mph speedometer Air conditioning 525cca battery Engine oil cooler Performance suspension The term "performance suspension" refers to the suspension which normally comes on a Z28, as opposed to the suspension which comes on the base non-Z28 Camaro or on the 1LE Z28. One other enticing thing is the package is cheaper than the regular Z28 options in order to give law enforcement and local government a break. Good luck trying to order one though. First, you have to find a dealer who will do a fleet order for you. The B4C is a "special services package" that is only orderable under a fleet number. It has no "stated" restrictions in the order book, but currently Chevy will not build one for a non-police department. And that means providing documentation indicating delivery to a police station.

NBS4 - I will post a cobra kill from the other day in a sec;)

NBM = Navy Blue Metallic

B4C = Chevrolet's RPO code for the Camaros with the police package.

might wanna try ebay, and i doubt that user will answer you, no activity since 1/05;) anyway, try ebay, or if you deal with decals, have them made up at a sign shop. junkyard search otherwise.

I assume you mean the newer supercharged Cobras, since the earlier Cobras before that were nothing special, at all. Right?

I've posted kills I made on supercharged '03 and up Cobras with my NA LT1. They should be searchable, I would think. No nitrous, no nothing. Just NA cubes versus a Ford motor in a heavy car that needs a big dose of power adder to keep up.

Pulley'd up, they're fast, I'll grant you that. Until you trash the stock bottom end, that is.

Steve, you know that the LS1 puts out just a tad bit more than what you typed (305) but I got your point about power/liter ratio comparing the engines.

Great kill on the 95GT mustang. :metal:

Steve is a goner on this site. I'm pretty sure he got banned about a year ago. When I saw his post without looking at the date I was was kinda' freaked out. He liked to argue about a lot of stupid stuff. The kills section has been a lot quieter since.
