Night started out with a guy in an 03 cobra on et streets with "hypir" on the plates rolling through walmart and he told my buddy he ran 11's. So my buddy told me to run him and I went over to him and asked what he ran and he said "quick" so I asked what times and he said "it's a quick car" so I said "well, I'd like to know what your running so I know if your worth my time/gas or not". He then said "don't make me bitch slap you for that comment this is an 03 cobra" so my buddy immediately jumped in and said "fine then, lets go race". Go out to a spot and had the cutout closed the entire time. Line up and I open it up, 3 honks and I spun some then hooked and put about 10 cars on him. After the race he pulled up to me and said "DAMN that car is BADASS, how much you spraying" and I had to tell him "it's ALL motor". We busted a u-turn and ran again with the same results.
After it got late and a few new peeps pulled in and most people left rumor had it a 94 mustang gt that was their was in the 11's. My buddies and I went over and started talking with him and he said he ran a "11.87 at 115 with a 1.6x 60ft", so they told him he needs to run this all motor lt1. So after a bunch of bull**** from him and him not wanting to race, my buddy says to me "pull ur car over here for him to look at". I drove across the parking lot, cutout closed and I pulled up, shut off the car and one of the mustang guy's buddies says "sounds like a low 13 second car to me", so I had to start it back up with the rpms several hundred lower and with the cutout open to let it lope for him. The stang guy still refused to race me and kept making up excuses, so I finally tell him I'd spot him a 1/2 a car.(just cuz I wanted a good race) He said he doesn't take leads and if I did then I'd lose, so I told him to prove it. He still wouldn't run me and one of his buddies was talking about running for money. So one of my buddies says he'll put $100 on my formula but the guy and his buddies said no still. He then asked me how much nitrous I had and I told him its "ALL MOTOR, no nitrous, no turbo, and no supercharger" So my buddy offers to wager his car on the race(worth about $5-6k) but the guy still refuses. So his buddy gets on the phone and starts talking to someone saying they need to come out and run this firebird So, we are sitting there chillin trying to get him to race me still, and in pulls a VIPER RT/10.(his buddy) We immediatly roll out to our place to race, and I heat up the et's and pull up and stop and he pulls up and stages with him a fender ahead of me. I still had the cutout closed at this point since this guy hadn't heard my car. So I start to inch up to get equal with him and he does 3 quick honks. I wasn't ready for it at all and he gets a 1/2 car jump on me before I move because I wasn't ready. I then pull that back and put several cars on him, but he ends up pulling back and putting 2 cars on me to 125mph(about 1 car in the 1/4). So he asks if I wanna go again and I said sure. I knew I set him up from the first race with the cutout closed/crappy launch, so he was thinking he'd beat me again. We line up again and I open the cutout and stall it up some. 3 honks and I spin bad, finanly grab traction and pull on him hard. He starts pulling back and at 120mph he was 1/2 car back(probably a car in the 1/4). YES I BEAT A RT/10 VIPER. So we go back to walmart and the viper guy says he can beat the mustang so it's pointless to run the mustang, and he knows he'll lose. My buddy then informs me the viper is slightly modded(not sure what though). So they start calling up people trying to find a car faster than mine. After a bunch of phone calls and not many returning/answering, they had "wildman" come out to race me. It's an lt1 with nitrous and 28x10.50 or 28x10 et DRAGS(thats all I know about the car), so he shows up and I recognized him from racing earlier in the night. He ran the same 03 cobra I did and he beat it by only 1 car, so I knew I'd wax him and it wasn't worth my time and they knew that also. So they called up some more people but nobody quicker than me could come out so they finally all left.
Went to Denny's and as we were leaving a z06 with "iona 62" on the plates rolled in and my buddy told me to give him a rev, which I did(cutout closed), and he rev'd back so I flipped the cutout open and rev'd on him again, then he did a rev limiter rev(hitting rev limiter at least 15 times). So I rolled by his car slowly but he wouldn't get out. I went down and rolled back by and he still wouldn't get out of his car. I remember the plates, either from on the board or its the same car I beat about a month ago.
So yes, my night was VERY good. I'm glad the all motor lt1 can hold its own. I just wish I could've ran the z06, so I could have a z06, 03 cobra, and viper kill all in one night.
