Im looking at this mag at work today, and there is this chassis lay out with the rear end, drivetrain, and all the suspension. I look at the engine, and it says "Powed By Ford". Now, there is only one Front engine, RWD car with an engine that says "powerd by ford" on the intake. It was the new mustang chassis. The driveshaft was a 2pc unit, there was dual exhaust with 4 cats I belive, front and rear brakes, and a some other things along with a rear end set up that looked quite familiar with the long LCA's, a Panhard bar, and then this upper control arm that is attached to the upper part of the rear end. Very Fbody-ish. Totaly different set up from the Fox/SN95. And it was a live axle, not IRS. I forgot to bring the mag home with me, but I will tomorrow, snap some shots, and you mustang boys can go nuts! :D

Did you see the front end? I was talking to a mustang guy at the Autocross yesterday and he said according to his engineering source (yeah, I realize how reliable that can be) that the front was a modified strut arrangment that has an upper third link (but bot a compete arm). I could only guess this would be to supress strut deflection.
He also said that the front end would be complete adjustable by the owner in terms of chamber and caster. He also said he was told the wheel fenders are rolled to allow for bigger aftermarket rubber.
Naturally, after the event we were talking to another Mustang driver who wasn't sure about the thrud link and thought the front was a thru Macpherson Strut with no factory alignment options.

It is indeed modified strut configuration.
Caster/camber plates have long been available for Fox-body cars , and the concept has bled into the production units.
I have some pics of the front suspension at home (not with me), but I beleive there are some pics online too.

Friend... I have already linked you to the exact same images, plus a few more to boot.
You can get all of them you want at theMustangSource.com .
I also took some of my own while at Nashville - they had a cutaway chassis on a rotisserie there.
Here is EXACTLY the same pics (http://bradbarnett.net/mustangs/timeline/05/05/52.jpg) that you just posted, but in 100% top-quality imaging.
Scroll 1/2 down the page and click 'til your fingers melt down...
