Well... look at Nissan's recent turnaround.

Maybe so...but their names were already established, and they weren't marketed as cheap entry-level automobiles.

When I hear the word Hyundai, it just screams "Cheap!". I could never picture Hyundai or its' partner Kia as atop model manufacturer. They will always be presented as the "Entry-level" automobiles.

Another car manufacturer comes to mind when I hear Hyundai and Kia...that outher company is Scion :blah:
