I believe they do make a locker for our 10 bolt. The locker will support that power, however, with that much power, you are still going to have the small ring gear to try and hold all of that power. Which I don't think is very likely, atleast for very long. Drivetrain forum ;)

They don't make Detroit Lockers for out rear ends.... and even if they did you would still snap the stock axles VERY easially...

The 4th Gen 7.5" 10-bolts were the worst screw up that GM did to our cars, they can snap with stock HP and a set of sticky tires...

For a 7.5/7.625" or a 8.5" 10 bolt???

I've seen them for the 8.5", but NEVER for the 7.5"...

Post the link....

you know the locker unlocks under no power so everytime you step on the clutch it will unlock and a 1-2 shift = boom.
no b.s here i have a buddy with a cobra and he had a detroit c-locker and the car was all over the place.

Honestly... I'm shocked... I've never seen one for the 7.5"...

I still think it's NOT a smart idea to put one in our cars with that axle... all I think of when I see Locker and 7.5" is opening the pumpkin and seeing 100s of small metal parts from the ring gear and axles grenading...

I've done this to 12-bolts and 9" with Lockers and sticky tires... I can only imagine our miserable weakling axles with one of those diffs in it... TOTAL carnage...

But on a different note... I give you a LOT of credit, most people when I ask for proof of something just catch an attitude; you stepped up an proved me wrong.... Very good grasshopper...;)

If you get a 9" for your car, definately get a locker. They are awesome. Anyone who says they are too harsh is a pansy. You only really notice them in parking lots.
