Me Vs. 04 Mach 1

so after work me and my friend decide hes got enough miles to race me (2000 miles) we raced a few times on and off the freeway i pulled on him (esp on the freeway) but his car for stock was very fast, in 1st gear he stayed with me through most of 1st but my car started to inch away at my higher RPMs. i have faith if he had a catback and x pipe he would stay with me if not pass me. Mach 1's are Very fast, i am very impressed.

I knew the one I raced a few weeks ago was stout. He had intake, exhaust, and dyno tune. I was ahead, but wasn't making much gain if any.

I've said it before: If Ford hadn't made the supercharged Cobra, the Mach would still represent very well.

It was my mach. I thought this is what we agreed on t roy??? We had 3 freeway runs. First run he pulled about 8 feet on me. Second freeway he pulled about 4 feet on me and now i got the hang of it. 3 freeway we were dead even. Then the low end run, we wer even through first, i got too much scratch into second, you pulled a lil, but i made up for it and it ended in a tie. Not to mention stock vs modded. :) I gotta get my exaust. :D Even though we talk **** to each other all day, we have a mutual respect for each others cars. Hey, how bout we have a handling/braking contest. :D

Hey at least were not ricers, and this area, trust me there are plenty on them. As a matter of fact on the 10 mph roll there were 2 of them behind us. We showed em what real power is. :)

Serves those ricers right. By now means do i look down on mustangs. If it werent for the ls1, then i would dream about the 03 cobra (still do) and maybe own a mach.
