Like the subject says. I need someone to check out the AC system in my TA as it is not blowing all that cold anymore.
I'd very much prefer a small, independant shop vs. a chain like Pep Boys or a dealer.
Thanks!

Maybe we can get a group discount. My A/C died about two months ago (according to the Pro's at Pep Boys). They say I need to replace the evap & condenser. I wonder how long I could get by with just a recharge?

There is a guy in Longwood that drives around a van and works on AC. He is an older guy that used to work at Autozone. I think he still does, not sure. Nice guy though. The business name was Morse AC I think.

Kumar,
Now that my dad is out of the "business" he doesn't have the equipment anymore. From what I understand AC work requires some specalized (i.e. expensive) equipment in order to do it right.
Chuck,
Thanks for the suggestion but I have this rule against doing business out of the back of a van :D
philcam01,
Do you have any idea how much an evac/refill would cost me? Like I said the AC still works but I suspect it either had too much/too little r134a in there.
Thanks!

Go to Longfellows Auto at the corner Orange Ave and Oakridge road. Ask for Rob and he will take of you. He might be able to just recharge it. I worked for him for a couple of years and he wont rip you off. PepBoys has some ****ty mechanics that work on commison and rip everybody off, we had a-lot people come in over the years with other shops telling people they needed huge AC jobs and all they needed was a few ounces of freon or a switch, reley, fuse, etc... The number is 407-851-2675.
