Canadian z28 04-25-2004, 01:01 PM Well i really don't know how to go about this or what i can do?
I bought a NOS system off this guy i sent him a money order that he got over 3 weeks ago, he said he shipped it Monday April 5th he gave me no tracking number. I have still yet to see the package, and to make matters worse i have called him many times left messages, and the last time i talked to him on the phone was around April 2nd. i have e-mailed him he hasn't responded.
The problem i have is that i have no clue if he sent it, i don't understand why he won't return my phone calls and i don't know what to do
Any help would be nice, i go to school and can barely afford my car, i took it off the road for 2 extra months just so i could buy this.
Please Help
Thanks, Patrick

I have his address and phone number, I just wish he would call me, cause i would hate to put his address up here and find out that he really did ship it even though it should have been here a while ago.
My family Lawyer phoned him and left a message to call me and he didn't.
Camaro94Lover 04-25-2004, 04:47 PM Now I have "heard" that shipments to Canada from the US take weeks, even months to clear through customs AND that there possibly could be additional customs fees tacked on to your package before you can pick it up. I learned this through shipping UPS, USPS, and FedEx through our company. May be worth looking into. As far as him not responding to email, he could of at least done that.

rockind78 04-25-2004, 04:51 PM Keep in mind that this incident alone may be enough to discourage some of us from buyng things from this person. At the BARE MINIMUM, some of us may not want to wait 3+ weeks for parts, so for no other reason, please post his information so we can know to steer clear of this guy. The bottom line between a buyer and a seller (long distance transactions) is that communication needs to be consistently occurring until the transaction is complete and both parties are satisified.

Thats not true unless the package description doesn't match up to whats being shipped. I've ordered many things from the US and it takes 1 day max to go through customs.
ABA383 04-25-2004, 09:49 PM Never heard of the Baltimore Camaro Club before...drop me their website and I can be at his door at 6:00am tomorrow...been doing a search for it, but my computer and I aren't on the best terms right now....

o-zone 04-26-2004, 04:24 AM I 2nd what "HSYR" said, I get parts from the US
sent to me here in Canada and it doesn't take
that long to get through customs. Longest I've
waited is 2-3 days, UPS ground shipping is the
worst. Fed-Ex is better. That's the s**t's if you
got burned, hopefully "ABA383" can track him
down 4 U.
Cheers...
ABA383 04-26-2004, 02:42 PM Canadian z28 I sent you a PM...

Got your PM and left you a message at home, i'll call you tonight.
Canadian z28 04-26-2004, 03:07 PM Well i just tried to call him again and now the phone number is telling me that the EXT is no longer in use. so i no longer have a good phone number for this guy
ABA383 04-26-2004, 08:16 PM Hey, give me a call at home....I'm here now....
Camaro94Lover 04-27-2004, 01:03 PM I talked to a person in our shipping and he said the slowest he had was postal mail which was held up about a week and a half between the US/Canada. Rarely does it happen BUT if it does, you still need the shipment records in order to track it down so if the seller like in this case doesn't help out, it could be sitting on a shelf somewhere or still in the sellers garage.
Good luck in getting your items though. I've been burned on EBay before and really aggravated.
ppmz28 04-27-2004, 01:19 PM if he sent it USPS then it could take weeks... I have had plenty of things take weeks with the postal service

I was thinking that, but when you don't return e-mails, or phone calls for 3 weeks, and then you discount your number.
Then you know you have be had:cry:
