Washed my car today..
After I get in to go drive it and it cranks then shuts right back off.. I think WTF?
It wasn't getting spark so i unplug the MSD box go back to stock and it cranks and runs fine.. Then plug it back in and it won't start.. unplug it again and it will start.
So its safe to say that $300 pile is now an expensive paper weight..

How old is it? You may be able to get it replaced under warranty.

Let it dry out for a few days and it should be fine. The same thing happened to my digital 6. I drove it in the rain, it got wet and didn't work correctly. I have it mounted near the bottom of the car, you can't even see it. ;)

thats exactly why I mount all my MSD's in the glove box usually.

that's precisely what happened to my last one -- I started the car, started backing up, and it died. Cranked and cranked to no avail. I bypassed the MSD box and it fired right up... A little bit of water and a lot of wasted money...
I keep a spare on hand, and set them up with weather pack connectors so I can swap them when something happens. I've only had one fail, but it's nice to have a backup while the other one is being fixed by MSD...

Where this one was mounted It couldn't have gotten wet. Its impossible for that area to get wet.
Its mounted on those rubber isolators too.
I'm thinking about swaping up to that DELTEQ setup since my eaton eats alot of room (it would be a pain to mount 8 coils)
How are you guys likeing it?
