I've been doing some research and it looks like the 6.0L/LS6 MAF can be used on the LT1 with some mods to the PCM and wiring. Size of the unit being the only issue that I can see (4" inlet, 3.5" outlet). Also the cost, <$100 for the part, which is a ton cheaper than factory replacement. I'm just wondering if there is any unforseen problems that I may run into by swapping the unit in???

Mods: I put this in here beacuse from the little amount of info that I could find, most people in LT1 tech would be totally lost, let alone have any useful info.

You can also use a Maf translator to do the calibration, also we offer a harness that will allow you to plug in with no splicing.

Hope this helps

I have one on my 95Z that I purchased from Ed Wright while he had my PCM to do some tuning. It is leagues above my stock ported one (fuel tables). WELL worth the money!!! I am not sure the MAFT will do what is necessary to dial it in though???

That is not my area of expertise. How much are the MAFT's these days anyway?
