what size pulley and where to purchase for ati p600b

I have a ati p600b with a 2 core intercooler. any recommendations as to maximum amt of boost with that setup? Would my intercooler be a large restriction etc....and where should i purchase the pulley. are there any problems with belt slippage going 12 lbs and higher with the stock type pullies? any help is appreciated thanks

First, do you have a built bottom end? If not you will run into problems running alot of boost on a stock bottom end.

As far as pulleys go you do not want to run anything bigger than a 12lb pulley. If you decide to run the 15lb you will more than likely to overspin the blower which will lead to a crashed impeller.

yea the bottom end is all new..scat crank eagle rods with arp bolts..etc.. i think they are srp pistons..its been about a year plus since i gave parts to a friend of mine to build..hes the mechanic.... stock lt1 head with 3 angle valve job new pushrods 1.6 rr's custom ground blower cam new springs for the heads ..yadda yadda...so 12 lbs..is the max for that blower..and where can i get that pulley any suggestions? if a more detailed list of the motor is needed i'll post it..i posted earlier to oil cooler and oil pump questions do you have opinions on that as well?

You can pick up a pulley either from ATI (www.procharger.com) or from ASP pulleys (http://www.aspracing.com/).

What kind of compression you running?

Yep... don't do any higher than the "12 lb" pulley with the P600. I don't see any slipage with the 12lb 12 rib set-up on mine. It makes about 10-11 pounds of boost on my engine.

compression is 9:1 .. was hoping to run 12 lbs boost safely. i was looking at it one of 2 ways..either i run more boost and cut the rpms at 5800 or so..or run less boost but run the rpms upwards of 6200 rpm.. im thinking more boost less rpm..would be better..any advice is appreciated

With a 12lb pulley I bet you will see anywhere from 9-10 lbs of boost. :)

yea...if i get 10 lbs...of boost that be nice...this car has been off the road for almost 2 yrs..i just hope everythin goes to plan..but where can i get a pulley who sells a 12 lb pulley for my blower? should i just call ati?
