I know you guys have seen this all 1000 x's before. I have a 96 Z-28 Bone Stock with 106K. It runs like day 1. I know it is a lot of miles but I want to supercharge it. I have choosen to run a powerdyne 6PSI and no more. What in line up should I do to run this set up the correct/best way? What should I do for fuel, the (heads,cam),etc......
Thanks for the info.

Reconsider

How about just NA with nice heads and cam?? if you put the $$ the blower will cost into the heads and valvetrain you will be faster than with a 6# PD.

If your bound and determined - then forget about heads and forge the bottom end instead.

It's not a question of "if" but rather " when" you will break a ring or piston.

Go Vortech or ATI and do nothing as far as major modifications, at the 6psi level these kits are pretty much bolt on.

Wait 6 months and then we will talk about that 6psi threshold limit ... :D

Boost is addicting ... might cost you $10K in rebuild ... but I assume you've searched this ... ??

Hope this helps

You've only got 10 posts and sound like a noob, and I'm tired of this question, grr. Powerdyne is limited in power, but the stock motor MIGHT last a little longer, in the long run ur going to have to rebuild, might as well get a better blower while ur at it

Hey schpenxel, the reason I only have ten posts is because I had to resign up. Now I am not about to get in any write off war with you. I appreciate the info and learn to have a little bit of patients.

Agreed. BTW the search function is your best friend. :)
