LT1-Edit: Performance tuning plz help

I've had the LT1-Edit program for a while now and I have done with it so far is raise the rev limiter, disable skipshift, change tire size/gears, enable fans at lower temps, etc.

I want to mess with some of the more complicated settings such as the air and fuel ratios at WOT, etc.

This is what I have for bolt-ons: 1 3/4" shortie headers, cat-back (flows AT), CAI, 1.6 RR, electric WP, alum FY & Spec stage 2 clutch, 3.73 gears, TB!, MAF!.

Does anyone have a good idea of where to start and what to tune?

If you want to tune for more power, then you will need a wide band dyno session.

GM sets these cars up pretty rich in PE mode, so often times you can lean them out a bit and still be safe.

I think 12.5 - 13 A/F ratio normally aspirated, is a good number, but do a search or wait for others to chime in.

You may also be able to add a degree or 2 more timing at the top end, but do this on the wide band.

Hope this helps

Thanks LWM that's a good start.

Does anyone have any more numbers from cars with similar mods that have been dyno'd and tuned successfully?
