Another Trooper sighting thread...

fwiw, was traveling east on I90 Sunday and saw an undercover Statie in a DPW accessway (just past 10A) sitting in a green Mustang GT. Not quite sure of my the year, as I am not too familiar w/ Mustangs specifically, but it looked like the more recent body style. He was speed trapping w/ laser, and tagged a Lexus that was just behind me. The 'stang lit up when in pursuit, lights in the windows/grille, you would never have guessed it was a Trooper. It was quick to catch the Lexus, we were going approx 80mph, and he caught it with little effort... On the way back, westbound, saw an undercover Dodge Intrepid speedtrapping...

ya they are gettin very tricky now=a=days

That 2002 GT i have ran into many times. He trys to get you to run him.:rolleyes: Its like you would have to be not paying attention to race that car. 1st the windows are so dark you can't see in the car. 2nd the car is wicked loud and you can see the lights in grille.

It's pretty sad the police do this ****. :mad:

I've seen that guy quite a bit on I-90. Just don't mess around when you see a green mustang.

hmm..maybee if you see him on the highway some time walking someone to see if they will run with them. call the staties on him, saying hes acting like he wants to racewith people in traffic and causing a nusance :D

Maybe the police should try to protect us from actual criminals instead of trying to bait us into racing...:rolleyes:

Watch on on I95 and RT1 for a red Grand Prix GT. Black windows and you won't be able to see the stobes, they are the kind like plows have that are actully inside the head/tail lights.

A few weeks ago I saw a Navy Blue 2002+ Mustang GT with someone pulled over. Typical undercover blacked out windows, lights in the rearview and in the grille. Had the silver 5-star rims and said GT on the fender.

Look out for new Impalas on RT 2 and I 95.

Coming home from school one day I saw a new Impala and slowed down then drove right next to it(I was warned by a friend who has seen them pull over a lot of people). So I look in the window and the driver looked at me and nodded. There was no doubt in my mind that he was a statey. Those Impalas are sketchy because they are every where you just don't know. I HATE THIS STATES COPS:mad: :mad:

i was told that there was alot of people pretending to be cops and that what you do is put your hazards on and drive to a gas station to be safe. what i'd do is drive to the gas station get out and run around yelling "SAVE ME! SAVE ME! HE'S TRYING TO KILL ME!". maybe then he'll just decide its not worth it :D

I was on my way home tonite from ESP in ct. and on the mass pike i saw the undercover car that i couldn't believe.....it was a pearl white escalade:eek: it had the lights going on the side of the road with a car pulled over. I couldn't belive it. Imagine getting paid and you get to pimp the escalade. it was the suv not the ext one.

my ex's dad was a statie on the pike and for awhile he was in a black saleen but he found it uncomfortable to sit in for hours (hes a big guy) so he traded it in for a brand new crown vic. lol the staties are allowed to get just about any car.

Any specs? Mods list? Dyno numbers? Or just hearsay? I find it odd that the Commonwealth would pump thousands of dollars to mod a Mustang to do a high speed pursuit that they are not even supposed to do.

I guess after the big dig, though, anything is possible.

It all sounds like entrapment to me. Damn cops are there to protect and serve not egg you on into a race so they can collect you money and the government can give themsleves raises. As far as I am concerned they should be patrolling and a cop should never be allowed to sit and speedtrap people. The cars should have markings to prevent crimes and not encourage them. Have you seen the new tire spikes you can get from the armored car manufaturers I am gettin me some next time they wont be so ready to race me.

Oh yeah and there air units cant catch my 2000 Hayabusa according to Guiness book of world records 198 MPH. I have seen 190 had more RPMs to go but I dont know about MPH.

Are you a cop? Because you sound like one so high and mighty thinking they are all that and just having a god complex. This is the type of person that gives all cops bad names and y cops are so hated in most part. Also for the moded car I think its bull. sell the cars make money on them, stick with your normal cars and do what you are there to do protect and serve.

i had one cop on 495 in a red z28 try to race me i wouldn't budge cause i was on the way to work but this kid in a bmw took off on him and the lights went right on it pisses me off so much they really need to put the money into fixing the roads and education

I was out in Worcester on Main Street just cruisin around like a lot of people do ou there on the weekends and there was this 30 year old guy in a green mustang gt that would not stop asking me to race, luckily I denied the offer, and was even happier when I saw him with a ricer pulled over an hour later. The cop waved to me and gave me a thumbs up. ;)

that red z got me on 290 4 years ago..hes been around for a long time

I know it, everyone i tlak to that drives knows him. My father, my boss, cousins, everyone......that car will be replaced soon most likely

I would tell him you will race him and let him know that in the United States we have a thing called entrapment. Yes in all 50 states and that he could lose his job for encouraging (asking someone to race or encouraging them to race or commit a crime) someone to do something illegal. Then see if he is still in the mood to race you. I would also mention that you have seen his tricks and that you have let everyone else know how illegal this is.

Wow, small world. My friend actually raced him and the cop finally turned on his lights once they hit 105mph. The kid drove a mustang as well. That really sucks.

Pretend to loose control and tag his rear quarter spinning him into the ditch or the guard rail. Maybe they will reconsider there illegal activities

Now that I drive the pike and 495 everyday I have seen 2 sketchy cars. Actually I saw them both today. The first one was on 495 it was an explorer. It was on the side of the road with his strobes on in the back. The second one was the same situation on rt 2 except it was a blazer. I'm gettin freaked out with all these cops sneaking around in these cars.
