Okay, I've decided to go with a solid roller cam in my Camaro.... I just need a little help in deciding which cam to go with.... My engine is a built 383 stroker with -

10.0:1 JE Pistons
JE HNS Rings
Scat 4340 Crank
Scat 4340 6.0 I Beam Rods
Dart Pro 1 Aluminum 215cc heads
1.5 Roller Rockers
Hedman Husler 1 3/4" headers, Flowmaster 3" exhaust
Hughes GM92 3500 Stall Converter, TH350, 3.90 rear gears
NX Gemini Quad Nitrous System... Dual Stage 350 shot...

Currently I'm running a Comp NX284 Nitrous HP Hydraulic flat tappet cam, and I don't really like the all motor performance of it... I want a little more pep on motor only.... The car is a very limited street driven vehicle, and streetability isn't a huge issue...

Here's a pic of the car for an idea.. http://amarilloracers.com/images/stock.jpg

Thanks for any input.. I appreciate it..

I've got a Lunati solid roller in my Nova, and I really like it. It is only .591/.597. You have a little better heads than I do, so I would think go with the .630 lift Comp cams. They make a lot of the .630 lift cams with different LSA and duration depending on where you want the power to come in at.

uhhh... a 630lift cam in a SBC well keeping it streetable... ya good luck.

What are u wanting to do with this car? Track only? Street/strip?

It does get cruised a little on the weekends... I think .630" is a little too radical for me... I was lookin right around the .600" or lower area... The heads on my car don't really come alive until right around there.... I know that the cam I have right now doesn't have enough lift (.525", .507"), and I'm also looking forward to the rest of the benefits of a solid roller... I want to rap it out to about 6500-6800 rpm.... Thanks...
