To sway or not to sway?

What do you think,
I am going to put 17s on my 69 rag. I was thinking about the Hotchkis front & rear sway bar kit. I don't think I have any sway bars on it now. If I do the front is factory and there is definitely no rear. The car has urethane bushings & traction bars now. I want the car to handle and ride good but not as hard as iron. It seems good to me now, but mabye I don't know how much better it will ride? Thanks.

I've got 17's on one of my 67's and even with the stock front sway bar and bushings the handling is substancially better than with the stock wheels and tires. You might also want to consider just using the stock f/r sway bars with poly bushings if you're looking to save some money. The Hotchkis bars are pricey and you might be surprised on how decent of a ride the stock pieces give you with better bushings.

sway bars are a good thing in my opinion...I had front and rear sway bars on a 71 impala I built.....well worth the price....
