Umm... this weekend is BCR, I would avoid it like the plague. The traffic is going to be horrible.

ehh I heard that too...
I was thinking of maybe just hitting cocoa beach then zipping up to Daytona USA, I doubt it will really be that packed ;)

;) Good thinking. I work in Holly Hill/S. Daytona area, and the traffic was already starting to get thick when we closed up shop at 4pm today. I still would rather deal with the traffic a few times a year vs. every day in Orlando.

I went to Daytona USA last year and didn't really think the museum was all that. We didn't take the track tour because they had an event taking place.
If you want me to tell you about what's in the museum, just let me know. I don't want to spoil it for if you know what I mean.;)

Yeah this weekend is definitely BCR. US92(Int'l Speedway) will be busy because that's the main road from the interstate to the beach. The main drag on the beach, from around Seabreeze(maybe a little north) to ISB(maybe a little south), will be packed. Ormond and Daytona Beach Shores shouldn't be too bad.
DaytonaUSA is decent. I'm not a NASCAR fan by any means, but have been there a couple times. There's also a nice go kart track across the street. Traffic wasn't too bad this evening around the speedway, I only live about 5mins away ;)
