How long would the header to turbo piping be for it to be too long? Pic inside

Kinda hard to see in the pic but I circled the side vents of the bumper. I was thinking of placing my turbos there and it would save me alot of hassle. Just not sure if the piping would be too long. I've seen people mount them alot longer than that with some good results but I just want to see what you guys think. I know about the oil scavanging pump already:D

No room in the engine bay to squeeze a turbo in? I would think it'd be easier to run a 3" inlet pipe down to there, rather than mount the turbo there and have to worry about the header and wastegate pipes. At least the downpipe would be short. :lol:

ive seen a guy with a t/a that mounted his single turbo way up front like that, he put down really good numbers and didnt mention any issues.

optimal is going to be right next to the engine..........but i doubt that much lenght is going to make a drastic difference.......im sure you can adjust the A/R to match.

Shouldn't be to bad. The longer the piping the worse the lag, but your not to far at least. For example the STS guys are mounting them on a trailer behind the car and experiencing zero lag :rolleyes: :D ...lol
