Creating Macros for Freescan!

I've taken upon myself the challenge of creating macros to assist with diagnosing CSV Freescan logs. Essentially i'm looking for normal ranges for certain columns depending on what Block is being accessed.. Bad cells in excel will be highlighted RED or another color perhaps if their values are less than favorable. once complete I plan on releasing it to anyone who wants it to help with figuring out what the !#@$@ is wrong with the freescan logs :)

Heres where I need a real hand from you guys (the experts)!

I'm no major car expert, I'm just a computer guy. I need to define a set of conditions for these macros that are considered "BAD" or maybe "Might be Bad".

Example:

-In Block 10 Injector Pulse width should be between X and Y otherwise its BAD.
-In Block 10 Injector Pulse width should be between X2 and Y2 otherwise it "Might Be Bad".
-MAF should read within X range if Throttle is at Y% etc. otherwise MAF Might Be Bad

These are just some examples, I'm really hoping to get the normal injector readings for each cell block the car is in to start. BARO, MAP, IAC counts etc would be great too. I'll do the tricky work for certain instances where I'll need to make a formula.

I'm not sure what kind of response i'll get from here, but I do know this would be a massive help for people trying to diagnose their freescan logs. I even plan on having it auto generate charts and such later on. If I don't get any responses though, i'm afraid im kind of stuck where I'm at now - not really knowing much. I'm going to use shoebox's computer diagnostic guide as a start later this evening, its probably got some settings i can throw in right off the bat.

Thanks for any help you guys can spare :)

Toby,

I have no data to add, but I do have some WOT loggs that may help out. My car is far from stock though. If you don't get the responces your looking for try posting on the LT1 edit mailing list. I'm sure you will get plenty of replies there!

Any logs would definatly help if you know your cars in good shape :)

It can come in handy seeing how a heavily modified car looks in its data file compared to a normal stockish Z.

just Zip and Email them to tobyz28@hotmail.com
