99 Firebird Owners Question

My brother-in-law purchased this car and under light acceleration the a/c will cut off.The dealership he bought it from said that this was normal. I thought that i would make sure for him.Thanks

I don't know about light acceleration, but yes under hard acceleration.

He also said that going up a hill (10-15%grade) that it does it also. Anyway around this?

i don't know about the A/C, but the fan slows down and the air blows to the feet (as opposed ot where it was blowing before) going up a hill or accelerating hard. then once you let up it goes back to normal.
