Bay Area meet time again

Ok guys, its been way way way too long since the last meet. Like usual it'll be at Heather Farms in Walnut Creek. We can probably start around 10:30 or 11 am, have BBQ at 12, play some football or something, take some pics of everyones cars and stuff.

Everyone brings a little to the BBQ so it doesn't cost much.

This is my first time checking the board in seriously a month or two. Jeff, lemme know when the bbq is. I might be in the area, you never know. The Camaro might even still be registered and insured too! Otherwise, I would have to bring the mustang (sorry).

Yeah I heard you got some trick new exhaust on there. Sounds like it was a strong dyno too. You may want to try to get it done in Fremont to get a true frame of reference since it was your baseline :)

22nd and 23rd are in the middle of finals but I can still make it lol. I probably will have all the studying done that I'm going to do (meaning next to none) ;)

I don't work weekends so pick whichever day is best for everyone

I did get it done in fremont. :D
Before exhaust: 299 rwhp, 321 rwtq

After exhaust: 313 rwhp, 327 rwtq

total gain: 14 rwhp, 6 rwtq

I think its settling towards Sunday, the 23rd. Anyone have a time preference? We usually end up driving across the street for food anyway so we probably don't need to worry too much about anything but who's got the cooler for sodas and who's got charcoal/bbq utensiles. We need to remember towels and maybe some of that hand sanitizer stuff so cooks don't have to walk all the way across the lawn to wash hands after touching meat.

we should plan on meeting at maybe 11 or a little before. that way we can go get food and then start cooking around 12-12:30.

edit: i'll bring my camera too. i should be able to fit a couple hundred nice size pics on it. if there's a cruise or something, i'd be willing to bring someone with me and we can get pics of it and ****. just an idea.

i've also got a Costco membership so if we get enough people we could always go there the day before to pick up food and stuff since it would be cheaper. plus they have Caspers hot dogs which are the best ****ing thing ever.

sadly, my camaro has been in for a bottom end rebuild at black magic racing. been in there since janurary 18th, and they haven't let me know with any updates yet, so I doubt I'll have my car back in time for the cruise. ****. I'd love to come out and kick it old school with y'all camaro dudes, though. :)

We'd like everyone to be there at 11 am so we can all get aquainted, get some supplies if need be, and set stuff up. We'll start up the grill at 12. Please be there before that.

a gas grill could be nice. last time it was windy and it was a pain in the ass to get the fire lit and stuff.

i was just outside smoking and got to thinking that we should all go to the track (Sac) one of these weekends too.

i'll check what's going on there and maybe we can schedule something for a few weeks after the meet.

saturday June 19th is the next grudge night at Sac. gates open at 5pm and there is racing from 6-11pm. they didn't show what it costs to watch but it's $35 to race.

i say we try to schedule something for then. i don't know if people want to cruise up or just meet at the track. we can talk about it at the meet and see what everyone wants to do.

Infineon is notoriously over crowded and ever day there is like the wed night drags, tons of rice... I mean its a kick ass setup, but I like the old drag strip feel myself. I am down to go to sac. I think he has 2 of them and both are supposed to be pretty damn fast. Either way its worth a shot and he's really not a prick once you get to know him :lol:

i'm still saving up for it. i'm only kind of half-assed looking right now. i'm trying to sell all my cds to get money to buy a stang now though. i've got a guy that wants them all (over 750 of them), but i'm not sure if he'll give me what i want.


if anyone on here wants 750ish cds, let me know. i want to get about $2500 for them. it's only around $3.50 per cd so it's not that bad, and most of it is good stuff. :D

You guys are on the list. Take a look at the first post in this thread and it shows the food/supply list. Just decide what you want to bring, post it, and I'll update the list.

We'll pickup some costco hamburger patties and buns. We'll get two 12 packs of soda, and the ketchup and mustard.

I'm afraid the car is parked for now... the crack on the windshield has spiderweb'ed nicely and the interior has gotten kinda nasty from sitting. we got the bike. we spent most of the day riding around the fields by his house and ****. it's the most fun i've had in awhile.


it's pretty fast too, it'll roast the rear tire on the pavement no problem.
