does an ls6 intake off a 02 ss have air and egr fittings?

i found one in a salvage yard by my house on a 02 ls1 now mine is a 00 trans am, will it work? which ones have the air and egr fittings? whas a good price for both?

01 and later intakes DONT have egr

the intake has nothiing to do with AIR

so if i was to get an ls6 intake i would have to get headers that have the egr ports shut? what if i got the longtubes for now and had the egr provision then later wanted to install an ls6 intake, could i just weld the egr ports on the longtubes shut?

You can just put a cap over the air and egr fitting if you want to get rid of them, or get non emission headers plug the egr port on your current intake and not worry about it.

If you're worried about passing emissions then leave the emmissions control equipment alone. Focus on other mods.

but if you buy the headers WITH the provisions for AIR and EGR, than later you want to remove them, all you need is block off plates (http://www.paceparts.com/product.asp?0=308&1=320&3=3059) sold by paceparts (and other companies).
