Hey everyone..my dad recently picked up the Mr clean auto dry car wash. My first response was, "dad..you actually wasted your money on this thing???"; but i figured i'd give it a shot before i went bad mouthing it. Well, to start off, they give you a filter only is good for 3 uses, you have to buy the replacement filter that is good for 10 uses. And they give you soap that is good for a couple of washes. You pour the soap into the "gun" and it sprays it out. You still have to wash the car with a sponge/washbrush. It does not act like a pressure washer or anything. The "gun" has 3 settings, rinse water, soap water, and filtered water. You put the gun on rinse water, wet the car down, than move it to the soap setting, spray the section of the car that your gonna wash with the soapy water. Wash the car. Rinse it with the rinse water. Move onto the next section. After you've got the whole car washed, than you spray it down with the filtered water. The filtered water comes out in a little fan, very very low pressure; which is fine because you've already rinsed all the soap/dirt off with the higher pressure rinse (tap) water. You just spray the entire car with this fine mist, which honestly doesent take long at all, and your done! Now just wait for it to dry, when it dries, you'll have a spot free car! I couldnt believe that it actually worked as good as it did. It has always been a battle to keep water spots off the T-Tops, and back hatch window. Not anymore, this worked great. Granted, you have to buy replacement filters, and replacent soap. But, IMO its worth it. Especially if you wash your car as often as me. I used to "air dry" my car, but everytime i would do this, dirt would still end up on the back bumper and stuff (i'm assuming the water would catch the dirt from the air). Overall, this thing worked exactly like advertised. I would def. recommend it to anyone who hates waterspots/drying there car.
