Thats what im running, obviously...I'm expecting right around 400HP, possibly a little more with tuning and definetly more with head work, its not the greatest blower, and doesnt make that much boost before it blows up. I assume you know most stock pistons dont last long with a blower...
Really! Well i was just curious. I was looking at trying to get some more power but not spend an arm and a leg trying to get it. But i guess i will just keep what i got if its going to melt my pistons!
Thanks Though! 400 horsepower seems awesome! What are you running in the quarter possibly?
Thanks!

Estimate: Hm...
you will get at most 10rwhp... the only thing is.... instead of 6psi you will see 4... If you could get 6 psi out of it again you might see those 400rwhp... but... if you have a good combo, you will see a lot less boost on the dyno than on the street... etc..
get me?
The better the heads the less boost you will see as long as you use the same pulley... as you see the limiting factor here will be and is the supercharger since you cannot pulley it up much more if you want to get something out of it.
If you upgrade to a VR4 its a different story...
call craig conely @ paradise wheels.. I think he has the last vr4 upgrades there are. Good guy to deal with and he even refunded my shipping when it was in warranty
But still... PORT THE HEADS!!!... even if you step up to adifferent supercharger (which you should), porting the heads is always the smartest idea, one you will get more power at the same boost levels and/or 2 need less boost to achieve your goals...
Right now Im fighting and maybe investing for an additional 10-15cfms more on my heads.

I understand what you mean about less boost with better flowing heads...Obviously with less resistance and equal amount of air coming in, boost is lower. Hmm, how much does a VR4 blower cost? I'm looking to upgrade soon if I don't sell the car, either to a vortech setup or more prefably, just upgrading the s.c. its self on this so I can keep everything else basically the same. Bigger s/c vs C5 corvette, decisions decisions

Get the C5. The VR4 upgrade I think it costs 500+ shipping bothways...
anyways... I thought... having heard of all the horror stories with the SN series Superchargers... (although good for 1/4 mile) I wanted something that was proven. I went with the S-trim and now I have a T-trim... and I guess i will end up with a YS-trim...
but... get the c5... its a LOT better machine... and it has lots more potential.. better mechanics.. better electronics.
