Lokar 700r4 Dipstick install help

i cant get the dang thing to sit in the tranny. i felt around with my finger and found a grommit that sits on the top and runs down about 1/2 inch into the hole. i removed it and the stick still wont slide in. anyone installed one of these lokar sticks before? any advice?

hey liquidskies, I need a locking tranny dipstick cause of a leak from the stick shooting out all the time. Is your lokar stick locking?

well its got 2 o rings on there. its a damn tight squeeze in the tranny also, doubt it will leak....ever. lol if i can get the damn thing in id let you know for sure
