What do you guys think are the best looking wheels on a bluish green LT1 Trans Am? I like the Torque Thrust IIs, Chrome ZR1s, Chrome C5s, and the WS6s. If you like a different wheel tell me which one.

I am either going with 18" Boyd Coddington Smoothie 2's or a set of 02 WS6 wheels. bigdreamZ 04-12-2004, 01:48 AM I voted for other, my wheel of choice would be a set of HREs :metal: Of the for choices you posted though I would get the Y2K+ C5 wheels because you see the WS6 wheels on tons of T/As and they look too stock for my taste, but then I am a little extreme. billsbird 04-12-2004, 02:24 AM ....check out the wheels that are made by CC Wheel @ ccwheel.com... I like the 505A style myself..... In fact I'm working on getting a Vette now & plan on using these wheels. ....... Bill NorthernSS 04-12-2004, 11:12 AM The new Cragar S/S wheels that are being put on some of the 02 GMMG ZL1's are my favorite wheels and prob the only ones I'd get if I ever got new rims. Maybe ZO6 for a second choice. SantaCruz163 04-12-2004, 11:38 AM Originally posted by billsbird ....check out the wheels that are made by CC Wheel @ ccwheel.com... I like the 505A style myself..... Bill Those are real nice wheels, but they price tag is alittle high for my budget. hotrodgirl 04-12-2004, 01:35 PM Boyd Coddington Smoothie II's SantaCruz163 04-12-2004, 03:40 PM those are basically the same thing as the TTIIs. Probably a lot more expensive too since Boyds name is on them. 1quickgt 04-12-2004, 04:16 PM id say 18 inch y2k vettes i wish they made zr-1's in 18's CscottsSS 04-12-2004, 05:05 PM actually, I think you can getter a cheaper price on the Smoothies than the TT2's, but don't take my word for it. hotrodgirl 04-12-2004, 11:01 PM I got my smoothie II's for $215 a piece jons69 04-13-2004, 01:49 AM Zo6 RiMs! Pandamonkey 04-13-2004, 01:56 AM Torque Thrusts look killer.:D Loony 04-13-2004, 02:13 AM CRAGARS BABY! AR copied them and yallz know it. Actually Weld makes the Cragar S/S's now and they are an alloy so they are a bit lighter than Cragar's wheels:D Lucas Black 04-13-2004, 02:31 AM if price wasn't an option, than HRE or Fikse, maybe even Forgeline....a set of Forgeline's look pretty good on certain f-bodies. BUT, since there is a budget....eh, all those listed are basically at the same level of appeal looks-wise, and i've seen multiple f-bodies with each of those wheels on 'em....so i'm kinda indifferent. ShaneS 04-13-2004, 01:56 PM Look into some other wheels. Boyd's for sure has full line of decently-priced wheels that will fit on an f-body. The ones you listed are all nice, but aren't all that rare. I'd hate for you to spend all that money on wheels, and then drive around the block and see another f-body with the same wheels on it... JMO, of course... :) good luck, Shane SantaCruz163 04-13-2004, 11:20 PM Originally posted by ShaneS Look into some other wheels. JMO, of course... :) good luck, Shane That will not be a problem. I will be the ONLY one in my town if a 4th Gen T/A. There are not even LT1 Z28s in town. My town is a Mustang town. I'm probably going to go with the TTIIs or the ZR1s. But still uncertain. NorthernSS 04-14-2004, 02:14 AM Here is my favorite wheel ever Cragar (http://www.cragar.com/wheels/230SS.jpg) Lucas Black 04-14-2004, 02:32 AM Originally posted by NorthernSS Here is my favorite wheel ever Cragar (http://www.cragar.com/wheels/230SS.jpg) have you seen the TTII's? cuz....just about identical.... not a bad looking wheel though, quite nice. :) Jilly 04-14-2004, 10:43 AM TTII's and Y2K's. NorthernSS 04-14-2004, 10:57 AM Originally posted by Lucas Black have you seen the TTII's? cuz....just about identical.... not a bad looking wheel though, quite nice. :) Yeah the TT2's, the Boyd Smoothies and these Cragar's arent that far from each other but I think the Cragar in an 18 adds just a little difference to stand out a bit more. All are rad wheels but too many people have TT2's and I would want something a little different. 01pewterz28 04-14-2004, 08:30 PM How could you not love these wheels where were made for the Camaro's :) Sean http://www.01pewterz28.cz28.com/tt2046.jpg aircop40 04-18-2004, 11:03 AM i voted other cuz i think HRE's, I-forged, and Fiskes look sweet! also smoothie 2's are my next fav. after that:D Jilly 04-18-2004, 02:26 PM Originally posted by 01pewterz28 How could you not love these wheels where were made for the Camaro's :) Sean http://www.01pewterz28.cz28.com/tt2046.jpg Those look really, really good. :thumb: | ||
