Robs97Z28 04-11-2004, 08:55 PM I have hear of guys rasing the front of the car to set the alignment. figure out how much the front rases while you are going down the strip and then set you alinment at the height. When the front is rases the toe changes, you are just trying set the toe correctly for the ride height you have as you are going down the strip. So, you don't scrub off any speed. If that makes any sense?? ZPaul2Fresh8 04-13-2004, 03:49 PM <--- Alignment Tech, Don't bother with any toe adjustments in the air! LoL Waste of time. How much are you actually going down that track? Toe changes when the car is in the air because your wheels hang freely, causing camber to go positive and taking toe with it. AutoX you would toe out/camber in about 1/8" or 0.15 degrees. Typical 4th Gen F-boy specs are .2-.4 positive and total toe about .10 positive. MHO, just leave it be, you're car will only be in the air for a brief second, the rest of the 9 seconds your car will be on the ground and your alignment would be off EVEN more since you aligned it so your front end will be in the air (BTW isn't accurate since toe must be adjust with a load). :D | ||
