tbyrne 04-10-2004, 08:23 PM T BYRNE Motorsports has put two popular products into one package to save you money! We have combined the very popular Baer Eradispeed rotors with Hawk HPS pads.
EradiSpeed™ performance OE replacement rotors deliver more than just "looks.” Every rotor in the EradiSpeed™ program has been purpose-cast, not to the OE specification of the rotor it replaces, but to Baer's specification, with improvements to increase the rotor's ability to survive in hard use. Each is exclusive to the EradiSpeed™ line and has been completely redesigned in a joint venture between Baer and Disc Brakes Australia (DBA®). All are cast with additional, higher quality iron in the "firepath," where the pad contacts the rotor, to provide a more substantial heat sink. This has two distinct benefits. First, every EradiSpeed™ rotor can be pushed farther in hard use before it heat soaks. Second, EradiSpeed™ rotors also provide greater durability. Claims of "improved durability" are often made or implied by other manufacturers, but Baer backs its claim with the industry's only "Limited Lifetime Warranty, against Warping."
Hawk Performance HPS compound provides advanced braking characteristics to enhance your driving experience. This unique compound combines the safety and quality of Aerospace design partnered with the braking technology of motorsports.
Features:
Extremely low dust
High friction/torque hot or cold
Gentle on rotors
Virtually noise-free
Much improved braking over OE
Long extended pad life

OBE1 95Z28 04-11-2004, 02:34 PM I would also be interested in a setup for a 95.
bluecmaro96 04-11-2004, 04:48 PM so tom, if i want all four rotors and front and rear brake pads it will soct around 760.00? do you have anything other than this? im sure these look sweet but their rotors and brake, they just stop the car, i want new rotors and brakes but dont have 700+

I got some "iwishihadgoodbrakes" for you, 5 dollars. just send me your LS1 calapers and spindles and 5 dollars, and I'll send you my lt1 stuff.
I'd also like to know if you can do anything for us LT1 guys.
bluecmaro96 04-11-2004, 05:22 PM no need to be an inmature moron an druin the thread, i was just asking tom if he had a cheaper set. theres a huge difference from some crappy lt1 brakes that are used and a set of rotors and brakes for lets say 350-400.00 im sure there has to be a decent set out there other than the cheaper factory set for less than 700, this is a good deal for that brand tom is offering i just cant justify even if i had the cash spening that much on rotors and brakes
CscottsSS 04-11-2004, 05:35 PM also interested in a setup for a 95 T/A.
BMAN'S SCZ 04-11-2004, 08:05 PM Hey Tom, Can you please give me a price on the C5 2-piece eradispeeds fronts with Hawk pads and the one piece rear eradispeed rotors for a 95 Camaro shipped to 06795. Thanks ...........John.

just get the fronts then :)
bluecmaro96 04-12-2004, 10:24 AM is that possible to just get the fronts? wouldnt that mess something up if i didnt get all 4 rotors and front and rear pads? since its rear wheel drive shouldnt i get the rear brakes and rotors first? what all do i need to install these on my car? do i need different brake lines or anything else? if i get one set now and another later down the orad, wouldnt the one set be kinda worn compared to the other and then that would mess things up?
teke184 04-12-2004, 10:48 AM since they are OE replacement you wont need anything new or different other than what's in the kit (right tom?)
and i agree...if you want to inprove performance on a budget you can do several things:
1: get a good set of pads on stock rotors all around
2: get good pads and have stock rotors cross drilled (heard this can cause cracking), on all 4 corners
3: get good pads all around and erradispeeds up front
remember that significantly more than half of the brakeing effort is done with the front brakes, that is why they are typically bigger, and why alot of cars have discs on the front and drums in the back.
so improving just the fronts wont really thow anything out of whack...
bluecmaro96 04-12-2004, 11:15 AM are hawk pad good? i seen stealth perf has thermo quiet brake pads a little cheaper are these any good?
tbyrne 04-12-2004, 01:01 PM Baer only has Eradispeeds available for the rear of the LT1 cars. I'm not sure if they will ever have anything available for the front.
bluecmaro96: You could go with the Powerslot rotors and Hawk pads. They would be $504.94.
BMAN'S SCZ: Those are -
2301011pack
Front EradiSpeed (2 Piece) 12.75" Rotors with Hawk pads
$539.99
2302012
1993-97 Rear EradiSpeed (1 Piece) 11.540" Rotor Package
$284.99
Shipping for everythng would be $22.
You could just do the fronts or rears without a problem. The fronts are the best place to start if your only replacing one set. That side does most of the work when stopping.
The Hawk pads are very good. They are very popular aftermarket pads.
Tom
bluecmaro96 04-12-2004, 01:22 PM is that 504 shipped? im from windber pa 15963 and is that for all 4 rotors and front and rear pads? whats the difference between e-speeds and powerslots?
OBE1 95Z28 04-12-2004, 03:55 PM Ordered my 93 - 97 rear kit on line!
tbyrne 04-12-2004, 04:22 PM bluecmaro96: Shipping to you would be $15. for 2 rotors and 1 set of pad ($30. to do the whole car). All of the Eradispeed rotors are cross drilled and slotted while the Powerslots are just slotted. Eradispeeds are also a 2 piece design up front.
Blown 96 WS-6 04-13-2004, 12:12 AM Ordered my set of rears today!
tbyrne 04-13-2004, 10:58 AM Looks like there was a little confusion in this thread. It is about the 1998-'02 packages for Eradispeed rotors with Hawk pads. A few customers through that we had a package for the rear LT1 Eradispeeds with Hawk pads. That wasn't advertised anywhere in this thead.
Thanks,
Tom
OBE1 95Z28 04-13-2004, 10:59 AM LT1 guys beware... the 93 - 97 Rotor "package" is rotors ONLY, no pads included for $284.99!
tbyrne 04-13-2004, 11:05 AM Nothing to beware of. This thread is about -
2301006pack 1998-'02 Front EradiSpeed (2 Piece) 12" Rotor Package $449.99
2302013pack 1998-'02 Rear EradiSpeed (1 Piece) 12" Rotor Package $309.99
That is how it was advertised.
BMANS SCZ asked about the front C5 rotors and the rear LT1 rotors so he received this reply -
BMAN'S SCZ: Those are -
2301011pack
Front EradiSpeed (2 Piece) 12.75" Rotors with Hawk pads
$539.99
2302012
1993-97 Rear EradiSpeed (1 Piece) 11.540" Rotor Package
$284.99
You'll notice that each package in includes the Hawk pads has pack at the end of the part number. The other thing that gives it away is that the description says "with Hawk pads". The LT1 version wasn't advertised like this.
Hope this clears things up.
OBE1 95Z28 04-13-2004, 11:13 AM Tom,
The confusion comes from your post above:
Baer only has Eradispeeds available for the rear of the LT1 cars. I'm not sure if they will ever have anything available for the front.

You answer BMAN's SCZ that part number 2302012 is a 1993-97 Rear Eradispeed (1 piece) 11.540" Rotor Package $284.99...the "package" is rotors only, yet your LS1 "package" is rotors and pads. I'd suggest you change the word package to rotors and then there wouldn't be any confusion!
Blown 96 WS-6 04-13-2004, 11:16 AM Tom, you're a great company to deal with but I really think there was confusion here as you stated but I don't think it was mine.
As a consummer, I don't know the difference between a part # that includes the word "pack" or not. The issue came up in the thread involving packaging rotors with pads. When I saw your response that said there was an LT1 'package" in a thread about packaging rotors and pads, I immediately assumed (my mistake maybe) that the LT1's were the same.
In any case, you can cancel my order as well.
Maybe next time.
tbyrne 04-13-2004, 11:29 AM I can see where the confusion came from. There were quite a few discussions that branched off the main topic so some people thought that pads were included with all of the Eradispeeds.
Blown 96 WS-6: I'm not sure what your name is. Can you give us a call or send an e-mail over to take care of this. This way we can provide you with a confirmation code.
Thanks,
Tom

This response is the exact reason I, and most folks on this and other forums, respect you as a sponsor. Thanks!
I will e-mail direct with my info.
