Don't waste your time.....go pick up some 3M swirl mark remover part #39009, it will get rid of your swirls. Then just wax over it.

Those are too many abrasives and not enough wax, IMO. If you had swirls, the first step should have been a cleaner or a slightly mild buffing polish.
I know a lot of people use cleaner waxes, and they are fine for regular paint maintenance, but you just will not get the best shine from a cleaner wax. If you want the best results, you have to use a pure wax as a finisher. The combo above is just cleaning after each other, and not putting down enough of a cover, shine and lubricating agent, like a pure wax.
So I'd say go and pick up the meguiars pure wax or mothers california gold pure wax, and apply a few coats. Your swirl marks should diminish greatly after that. Do not use synthetic wax (polish) with that combo. If you want to use a syn, then buy the two or three step package recommended by any syn maker and redo your process. Good luck.
Edit: Is that gold class pure wax? If it is, then ok you're in good shape. Come back with a few separate sessions of two coats, and you will definitely see results. Don't use anymore polishes or cleaner waxes though.
